TRIPS I’VE PLANNED FOR FAMILIES

My favourite Family trips examples

Morocco with kids. These are real trips I designed for families with kids. Sharing them so you can see how I work. Everything was booked, confirmed and timed before they landed – drivers, guides, experiences – and once they were there, I kept it all running.
Here is how I can help you:

Morocco with kids | adventure trip

Family of 4 (2 adults + 10 &13 kids ) |USA|8 days|4 locations|2026 August

▪️The Brief
A family of four wanting adventure balanced with comfort and off-the-beaten-path experiences. Must see was Chefchouen, Fez and Marrakech. They preferred to mix private transfers with the train. Also, they have bought flight tickets to Rabat before taling to me, otherwise, I would have suggested them different flight options – so had to adapt.
▪️Challenge
Travelling in August, when Morocco is at its hottest, with kids and some long distances. They asked to keep the pace flexible in case the children got tired.
▪️I arranged & coordinated
Two private drivers, train tickets, all experiences booked ahead, tuk-tuk rides in Marrakech, photoshoot, restaurants, hammam reservations.
▪️Itinerary
Landing in Rabat, 2 days Chefchouen, 2 days Fez, 3 days Marrakech and 1 day Rabat for departure.
▪️Experiences they loved
In Chefchaouen, a walking tour ending with lunch at the guide’s family home – a way to escape the midday heat and see local life up close. A family photoshoot in the medina, hammam and spa in Fez, a guided tour of Marrakech, dinners with a show, and the tuk-tuks for kids.

Morocco with kids | relaxed time

2 adults + 3 kids: 2,10,9 years old | Belgium | 10 days | 2 locations | rented car | 2026 June

▪️The Brief
This family wanted more relaxed vacation for 10 days, only staying in two locations. We choise Essaouira and Marrakech.
▪️Challenge
To find perfect accommodations: family friendy private riad in Marrakech with good airco, and in Essaouira I booked them beautiful family oriented gueshouse that is on any booking platform.
▪️I did their itinerary + arranged / coordinated
Helped them to rent car from my local contact, guesthouse booking, activities arrangments, city guide, local food tasting tour, surfing classes, restaurant reservations, managed to get seat to watch world cup final in a good restaurant with terrace. On the way to Essaouira they visited in the mountains located berber village for local life experience and cooking class.
▪️Experiences they loved
Both acoomodations I choise were wow – it’s hard to find nice places to stay with kids. Also, they were not sure about visiting the local village, but in the end it was amazing experience for kids. I left their itinerary very flexible so they can book things last minute, depending how their kids feel.

Morocco with kids | Desert road trip

2 adults + 2 kids:7,10 years old|Lithuanians |12 days, 5 locations, rented car|April 2026

▪️The Brief
This family wanted more adventurious vacations, with rented car, visiting Sahara desert, and finished relaxing in beach village.
▪️Itinerary
2 days Marrakech, 4 days desert loop, Taroudant, 4 days Taghazout – total driven 1590 km.
▪️Challenge
To make the itinerary so kids don’t get too tired in the car driving long distances. Find available unique guesthouse as April was high season. Family works in restaurant business, so wanted variety of good restaurants and local food suggestions/reservations.
▪️I did their itinerary + arranged / coordinated
Arranged the itinerary, helped to rent a car, booked guides, local food tasting, aranged desert camp, camel rides, sandboarding.
▪️ What they loved
The desert part, because I broke the drive into many stops. The accommodation too – I chose family-run guesthouses with really good food. And I left the activities open, because with kids you never know when they will get tired. They only needed to send me Whatsapp message day before and I arranged guided tour in Tiout oasis.

Father&daughter trip

Father and 10-Year-old daughter|
7 days, 3 locations | June 2025 | Sweden

▪️The Brief
First he though only about spending all 7 days in Marrakech, but I explained it will be hot, and they didn’t want to spend all there days at the hotel pool. Wanted authentic experiences but didn’t know how to make it happen. So I did my magic.
▪️Itinerary
4 days Marrakech, 1 day Atlas mountains, 2 days Essaouira
▪️Challenge
To create an itinerary that has lots of authentic flavor and keep in mind the heat.
▪️I did their itinerary + arranged / coordinated
Arranged the itinerary, all private transfers, guided tours +food tasting, booked Majorelle garden tickets, cooking class at local family home, tuk-tuk rides, authentic local life exeprience in Atlas mountains and after staying in beautiful nature boutique resort with swimmingpool (just 30min drive from local life village). After heading to Essaouira. Lots of arrangments to make it happen.
▪️ What they loved
They were so happy after – from the initial idea only to stay in Marrakech, they experienced the best local life, saw Atlas mountains, stayed in beautiful accommodations and even had time for Essaouira.

3 Families road trip adventure

12 people |6 adults&6 children:2-3-7–8-9-10 years old |12 days | 5 locations|October 2025 Netherlands

▪️The Brief
Three families who travel together often and like to stay active. They wanted the Sahara, three rental cars, and freedom to split up – two families ending in a beach town, one heading into the High Atlas.
▪️Itinerary
3 days Marrakech, 2 days Dades Valley, 2 days Sahara, 1 night in an oasis, then the coast – with one family branching off to Imlil.
▪️Challenge
Twelve people, six different age kids, schedule with different activities. Enough authentic stops without rushing, guesthouses that could take a group this size, and room for changes.
▪️I arranged / coordinated
Guides, restaurant reservations, and a family-run guesthouse in the Dades Valley with two separate hikes on the same day – one serious route for the adults, one gentler guide for the parents with kids. All desert camp arrangements. Lunch and a private tour in a 17th century kasbah. And a separate mountain stay for the family splitting off. nd wow local family run guesthouses, was flexible with their schedule, when one kid sick, I rearanged the end of the itinerary for one family.
▪️ What they loved
Everything. That every age group had something to do. The family-run guesthouses they would never have found alone, amazing oasis locations.
