Meet Blondie in Morocco
Salam, I’m Rasa Barcaite, a Lithuanian adventurer who fell for the charm of Morocco and the many ways one can find joy and happiness here. I moved to Morocco in 2015 and since then live in the hectic city of Marrakech.
I am a travel blogger, trip planner and concierge, who wants to help people live through the many miracles Morocco has to offer. I’m providing expertise, inside knowledge and professionalism when devising your travel plans in this magical land.
Before moving to Morocco, I was successfully working as a journalist, editor and media projects manager in Lithuania. And my adventurous spirit drove me afterwards to spend 4 years in the Netherlands, in the multi-cultural Amsterdam.
However, life in Europe was too regulated, too much lacking in freedom and surprise, and always seemed to follow the same patterns: work, home, friends, annual holidays and so on. So, I went on and kept looking until I stumbled upon the unpredictable and amazing Morocco lifestyle. I moved to Morocco without any plan, and a huge love for the country.

How did I start Blondie in Morocco?
Blondie in Morocco started 5 years ago as a blog where I could share my adventures in Morocco with everyone. Writing was my passion for a long time, I worked as a journalist, editor in Lithuania. I started the blog purely as a hobby, without any other intentions. When I moved to Morocco, I’ve travelled like a crazy pretty much everywhere and every way possible: solo, in groups, backpacking and so on.
Sharing my amazing stories on the blog and social media accounts attracted a lot of positive attention from people. It didn’t take long until I started to receive requests to help others recreate the same awesome experiences for them. That’s how I also started to plan other people dream trips to Morocco.
The most valuable gift I got from my travels inside Morocco was contacts and connections. I found trustful partners – drivers, transport, tours companies, experienced guides, hotel owners not only in the major cities but as well in the remote villages.
LETS DREAM TOGETHER
Planning your own vacation can take endless hours, especially for Morocco that has to offer so much. Who has that kind of time?
Let me free you of that stress and become your Moroccan adventure curator. I work with independent travellers who want to create a beautiful and authentic trip to Morocco.
These travellers, among them and you, have often many ideas about their itineraries and I help them to arrange these ideas into a beautiful trip. I will also save you time and money by finding the best deals for you that meet your travel preferences.
My travellers are keen on discovering not only the top 10 to see lists, but to immerse themselves in cooking classes, workshops etc and mingle with locals.

I would truly recommend Rasa. She has answered all my questions in no time, recommended certain services she didn’t work with and arranged us a 3 day trip to the desert.
We absolutely loved it! It was very well organised and reasonably priced. Also, her blog and Marrakech guide was very informative and helpful organising the whole trip to Morocco! Thanks so much Rasa!

We highly recommend this page! Rasa is very friendly and will help you with every silly (or not) question. She will help you to plan your holidays and you will feel like you planned it by yourself while just getting advice from her. All trips were great, we were going on our holidays with our homework done and the time just flowed there without any headache. Drivers were great, really friendly, informative and flexible in every situation, guides were really competent from local places, so you will see the real Moroccan life, not touristic places…!
Rasa is very helpful and answers all your questions quickly.
I would definitely recommend her if you plan to visit Morocco.
Rasa booked for my and my boyfriend trip to ouzoud waterfalls and it was very beautiful.
The guys were friendly and funny. And second day we were on camel ride in palmeria. That was great.
Our trip to Morocco raised 1001 questions. But all the questions were explained in detail by Rasa, both on her blog and in private messages. Feeling Rasa’s presence “somewhere nearby”, during our trip gave us a sense of peace and confidence.
We booked a 3 days trip to the Sahara desert. Punctuality, driver service, friendliness, guide charisma, loneliness, food, desert … Such a beautiful combination. Everything was perfect.
